Part of my issue w AI is that it doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be good enough.
Good enough to replace a low wage worker's output. Good enough to get it right whatever percentage of time the capitalists decide it takes to be "better" than a human worker. Like the Fight Club quote about recalls or something - if the AI gets it right 82% of the time and a human gets it right 81% of the time eventually the AI costs less.
It's iterative. The next AI will get more things correct. The one after that will get more correct than this one does. It doesn't have to replace us overnight. A job or two at a time, a career here a career there..
But I'm also just a dumbass. What the fuck do I know.
