Some people want everything to be porn, but I genuinely believe that most of this internet discourse isn't about wanting to jerk off but about wanting to reject the idea that a woman can be valuable as anything but a sex object or perhaps home-maker. The point is to deny the humanity of women and constantly reaffirm that they need to be pleasing to misogynists in order to be anything but disgusting.

Absolutely true in the end. It's about controlling what a woman is allowed to be. Which is of course just as pathetic.

Rhetorically though if I ever argue with these "people" in real life or otherwise I will only ask them why they need to jerk it to God of war. Because that is what they present and it becomes self evidently pathetic. Or they can admit to the control above and that leads to them being obviously pathetic.

Will this change their minds? Of course not generally but it will:

-annoy or even enrage them which is good because fuck em I hope they are always uncomfortable

-amuse me

-(small chance these days) change the mind of onlookers who haven't thought about it.

I think even if you don't focus on it, mentioning the real point is still productive from a "helping onlookers" perspective.

You may be right there.

it's the same reason they hate onlyfans models. they keep a greater share of the money from customers, can block customers they don't want, and can choose to only do/post what they're comfortable with. even though there's still plenty of free porn out there, the chuds see female sex workers in a position with more autonomy and dignity than sex workers have traditionally had, and it bothers them.
