Is there gonna be an 1865 series??

The series follows the post–Civil War generation of the Dutton family as they leave Tennessee, journey to Fort Worth, Texas, and join a wagon train undertaking the arduous journey west to Oregon (the Duttons are never on the actual Oregon Trail itself), before settling in Montana to establish what would eventually become the Yellowstone Ranch.

Why the hell would they leave Tennessee, the hotbed of the Klan, immediately after the Civil War....

In a flashforward, Elsa Dutton watches in late 1883 as a group of pioneers are slaughtered by a band of Lakota on the Great Plains. She kills one, before being surrounded. Months earlier, former Union Army captain Shea Brennan cremates his wife and daughter after they die of smallpox. His partner Thomas arrives and prevents him from committing suicide when he informs him of a Pinkerton job in Fort Worth, Texas. Shea and Thomas depart for Fort Worth and observe James Dutton kill thieves who attempt to rob his covered wagon. Meanwhile, James' family: his wife, Margaret; 17-year-old daughter, Elsa; 5-year-old son, John; his sister, Claire; and Claire's teenage daughter, Mary Abel, travel to Fort Worth from Tennessee via train. James continues to encounter antagonistic criminals in town, while Shea and Thomas meet with a group of inexperienced European immigrants who pay them for an escort to Oregon. After the Duttons arrive, the family stays at a hotel, and a drunken man enters Elsa's room and attempts toremoved her before being killed by James. Realizing a partnership would be advantageous, Shea convinces James to accompany the wagon train to Oregon.

I see....so the entire plot of 1883 if I'm being overly generous to Taylor Sheridan is 'the Dutton family's manifest destiny westward was ultimately because Lakota and it only took the family like 200 years to move past this'....What is Marshals about?

Marshals is set to follow former U.S. Navy SEAL and rancher Kayce Dutton as he joins a specialized group of U.S. Marshals tasked with protecting Montana.

Protecting Montana from what?! I thought this was a ranch show

Kayce sells the ranch land to the Broken Rock Reservation for a symbolic price, gaining Thomas Rainwater as a blood brother. John Dutton is laid to rest in a private ceremony. Afterwards, Beth tries to kill Jamie at his home, but Jamie strangles Beth until Rip intervenes, allowing Beth to stab Jamie to death, fulfilling her earlier promise. No longer able to be built on or resold, the former Dutton ranch is reoccupied by the Broken Rock tribe, and the bunkhouse cowboys go their separate ways. Beth has bought a small ranch in Dillon (Montana), where she starts a new life with Rip and Carter. Kayce has been given back a small piece of land from the reservation, where he will live with his family and run it as a ranch.

I see....so Marshals S01E01 will be basically "There's illegal immigrants coming into Montana to steal all the beautiful land from the reservation, you must take them out John Kayce Wick Dutton."

I do want to know what 6666 is about because if it's Space Ranchers that one might actually be worth watching devoid of any other knowledge of the series besides what I just read on Wikipedia lmao
