Rinse the shower right before you get out (detachable shower head works well for this) and it'll cut down how often you need to clean the shower by a lot. It's typically the soap residue that causes showers to get gross so rinsing minimizes that quite a bit.
but then i can't leave gross messages on the walls for my spouse made out of hair.
