Filling up petrol at 7/11 tonight, I see a sign about stocking onigiri and gyoza. Very reminiscent of Japan 7/11.
Inspected the gyoza more closely. Korean BBQ beef flavoured, pan fried, looked good. Discounted $5.50 for 5 pieces. Eating now, theyβre pretty good. Bit stingy with the included sauce though. Will try the onigiri next time.
I've tried their onigiri and it was incredibly bland, no seasoning in the rice and not much filling
7-11 has really lifted its sandwich and lunchmeal game over the last couple of years. I've been pretty impressed with the range and quality. The thai beef salad wraps are very nice. For a while they had very nice lamb souvlaki wraps too. And the roast beef & salad sangers pretty legit. Haven't tried the onigiri yet though.
Let's just see if you survive the night first
Just don't go near their egg roll. It's a crime against taste.
Will have to try! I miss the onigiri.
