Goodbye cheap PC components that people can easily afford, how I'll miss you.
In the 90s, a decent desktop cost the equivalent of $7600 today. We would lock computer cases because people would steal RAM DIMMS. This weekend, I was at an electronics recycling depot and people were being shooed away for trying to scavenge RAM.
Second hand market: "I am a joke to you?"
like they aren't being gobbled up either.
