Not saying it's easy, but I think in some ways, it's quite a bit more fulfilling with the effort to payoff ratio. Plus, I assume it might work in a pleasant way if one actually has a community where people are willing to help out and do things together

It's a very romantic view. Places like that already exist and are called farming villages. There's a good reason most people leave it for the cities.

Yeah, true. It certainly is a romantic view. But I don't know, the mind yearns for an escape from the rat race in this capitalistic system
