It's too early to say andrew is being held accountable.

He's being investigated over giving classified info to epstein. He's not facing justice for all the children he raped or for any role he had in organizing and facilitating the child sex trafficking he was part of.

If this is easier to prove in court and he ends up with life in a real prison where he can be shivved in the yard, then we can say he's being held accountable.

A top solicitor from here in the UK pointed out on the BBC that whatever the police find during the searches will be used to rearrest and charge.

So if he's got anything dodgy in his residences then the police will arrest and charge him again. Obviously if it was me then I'd have got rid of any evidence asap, however I wasn't born as a prince who thinks they are super special and that they are untouchable.

Worst case scenario for Andrew: a fine.

Even military secrets is only 2 years under British law.

I'd settle for him experiencing non-consensual sex from the other POV

No. Just no.

Kill someone, and you've done less harm than raping them. It's an indignity I'd not wish on even the abusers.

Do not stare too long into the abyss, make a clean break instead. Which is a simple way to say that I am willing to talk about death penalties. I'd still not generally approve of death when imprisonment is available, except in cases of attempted coups. Those fuckers need to die as fast as possible because if not, they try again and often succeed, and then everyone loses.

Basically, my policy is "remove the source of harm, while not giving into the justifiable rage that those sources of harm would be proud of".

You give them a day in court where you air all of their dirty laundry, and then you lock them away for the rest of their life. Treat them exactly the same as any other prisoner. Maybe subject them to experimental psychologists and mandatory group therapy. Get some use out of them while trying vainly to make them understand that they are not in fact the smartest people in the room, and are actually monsters.

And if they ever miraculously come to that realization, you leave them locked up because they are monsters who cannot be trusted.
