Idk anymore, some rather wild cases appear to have some garrish aspects revealed as truth recently. I can tell you what I want to believe:
Yaldobaoth keeps our souls trapped here in the material realm via a spiritual apparratus located within Saturn's Storm. I highly recommend r/SaturnStormCube if you need inspiration, check out posts by r/MenorahMan from a while go. Someone needs to make a boomer shooter out of that lore.

That was the best part of it. MenorahMan distills it all into one canon and its sweet. Homie could have been an author but hes practically shitposting on reddit. Just doing it for the love the game. Then, apparently his account gets banned, and another account claiming to be him came up and it started its own conspiracy. Beautiful.
I refuse to look into this deeper but it sounds a lot like the lizard people with the spiritual netting around earth that makes our souls trapped from ascension, or whatever.
