mmm yers, death by starvation, illness, exposure, and so forth are so much better than being bombed or shot. No, ignore the fact that the end result is the same, whats important is that our horse blinders and ear plugs are protecting us from whatever our bluemaga overlords don't want us to see
What's important is that in one scenario there is less of some undefinable quantity, and that's as far as moral reasoning can be permitted to go.
