Federated universe is a decentralized, federated social media network that is interoperable with each other by using ActivityPub protocol.


Rules

Let's hope they start seriously extending ActivityPub. There are many things that need to be specified so you don't end up with ten different incompatible versions.

At the very least, they need a regular, defined, feature extension process, like Python's PEP.

There's the FEP repository already, and the AP Working Group at W3C has been re-chartered, so things are moving.
