Why is anyone defending her when her take is actually shit?

For one, enabled implies Israel's not the ones doing it.

According to the congresswoman, "In the macro of national impact, I probably should have gone with my values - which would be to vote 'No' - but in the micro, I do believe this created a window in our community to bring all folks to the table."

It baffles me that socdems really can't see through her.

Isn’t the iron dome a defensive anti missile… thing? If so, this isn’t really that damning imo. Funding the defense of an ally isn’t inherently bad, though it does beg the question of why we are allied with Israel.

Sending anti-air flak shells to Berlin in 1944 would also be aiding in defense, but I think you could see the problem with that. Same thing here: a fascist state committing genocide absolutely should not be given tools for defense. The longer Israel can defend itself from retaliation, the longer it will continue to fight, the more innocent people will die.
