Some people put their full size bed against the wall and have a mattress thicker than the fitted sheet is meant for
I still don't understand what difference it makes when the bed is against the wall. "full size" mattresses aren't harder to bend enough for fitted sheets than small mattresses, unless they're also thicker, which AFAIK isn't the norm.

No. Why is it so difficult to lift up the edge of a mattress for so many people? Are you trying to always do it from beside the bed somehow?
I think people are just bad at it. I genuinely don't know what to tell you
