Mass tree planting in China is turning one of the world's largest and driest deserts into a carbon sink, meaning it absorbs more carbon from the atmosphere than it emits, new research reveals.

"We found, for the first time, that human-led intervention can effectively enhance carbon sequestration in even the most extreme arid landscapes, demonstrating the potential to transform a desert into a carbon sink and halt desertification," study co-author Yuk Yung, a professor of planetary science at Caltech and a senior research scientist in NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, told Live Science in an email.

"Your type"? What type is that? Chinese plant? And I "simp for billionaires"? Are you high? Lol, I have no idea what you're on about, but you don't seem to feel well, get better.

I didn't even criticize your going after China. That's fine, argue your point, convince me. What I criticized was a reflexive turn to calling people bots and plants as soon as they don't agree with your point. That is whiny, and comes from weakness. You won't change anyone's mind with that whiny garbage, you'll just get pats on the back from those who already agree with you. Going for those pats instead of actually arguing your point shows that you're weak, and not a good proponent of anti-chinese views. Grow up and read a little. This can be a platform for exchanging ideas and teaching/learning, instead of just attacking anyone who disagrees even slightly.

Yeah, I'm not wasting my time arguing with or trying to enlighten someone who is defending a fascist authoritarian regime when it's been shown China just pays trolls and manages bot farms to control the narrative and their image

After Tiannamen Square, Hong Kong, Taiwan, all the academic dishonesty, planting spies in global academic institutions, organ harvesting in Xin Jiang, and IP theft China does, there is 0% chance I'll believe China's opinion on anything. They had absolutely no credibility to begin with.

So you can sit there continuing to scream into the void at me because I really don't give a fuck what a fascist defender has to say.

P.s., my favorite part was when you disliked my ad hominems so much, you made your own thinking it would sway anyone to your side, like we were starting off with some healthy debate.

Not debating, and literally in one paragraph your argument fell apart into the same level of ad hominems - you must have been on the debate team in school, hey.
