It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

We need a "wildly infuriating" community
Apparently there is the !actually_infuriating@lemmy.world community, I just didn’t know about it.
It's a 45 year old story. Woody Allen in the photo montage is a big red flag. But I wouldn't exactly call this breaking news. Brooke Shields had been out about her atrocious treatment even before #MeToo.

It’s not breaking news but it is a really interesting snapshot in time showing how not only were these behaviors occurring, it was at times very publicly normalized. Comparing a 13 year old actress to a “nascent whore” is staggering.
The Olsen's Twins 18 Count Down websites were a thing.
Not just random websites any creep could make, but something mainstream TV talked about too.
More obscure, but Greg Kelly "complimenting" an underaged worker for her bathing suit. He would later be fired. He's on Newsmax now.
It's how these fuckers talk about everyone.
