Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

It's a joke older than the internet, it's not the author's own thoughts about boogers, it's someone else's that they just used in a comic format.
just because other people have had the thought doesn't mean it's not their thought too. just because crabs (or anteaters. or whatever) evolved from multiple directions doesn't mean they had to originate the same place.
Most comics being created today are simply recreations of old jokes or memes
Nothing new under the sun
Back in my day, the memes fit the message. Nowadays, it's like they are rolling the dice which one they use for what is copy paste of their insta post. Like the abuse of the "Lisa on Stage" meme, it's so on point that it's obvious they aren't even trying to be funny.
That's not particularly exclusive to comics. Jokes in general are infinitely re-hashable, which is fine as long as the comedian puts in the effort to make it their own and doesn't just steal the joke and try to pass it off as their own.
And that's exactly what I don't see in most comics :(
