Support the athletes, not the IOC and the institution.
I can do that at other events.
Fair, though this might just be a bit of a lib position of mine but if it weren't for how awful the IOC is the Olympics are actually a pretty good thing for keeping international community imo
I agree 100%. We should start a new event or maybe expand existing ones slowly to capture more of the world. Maybe the EU could host a non-profit Europe games which can invite more countries over time, turning it into an international event. I don't know, it'd be a big undertaking and I'm not sure how you would stop the EU politics invading. The Commonwealth Games could maybe expand more, but it's already had controversy in the past and I could see it becoming another IOC situation.
But anyway. the olympics are getting exactly 0 of my time.
