8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Nah. The crazy part is how they think it's okay to be ripped off as long as it's not by a fascist.
No one said that. Teslas are a ripoff anyway, so why are you framing this like it's a choice between "support a fascist or get ripped off"? That's fucking inane.
I said it's crazy how this is where they draw the line.
Most of the people saying to avoid Tesla are only saying that because of the CEO, not because the cars are scams.
It's part of why most people are rubes.
It's crazy to you that someone would draw a line against supporting fascism? So if Elon released a decent product at a fair price, but was still an open neonazi, you would support him? Because having a moral stance guiding one's economic decisions makes one a rube?!?

Criticizing Musk for being a nazi doesn't preclude the other valid critiques such as Teslas being an overpriced and shitty product. That's a strawman that you've injected into the conversation.
If Elon wasn't a fascist and offered a fair deal, then I wouldn't be saying people are crazy for drawing the line at his fascism when the cars are scams.
You need to learn how to read before any of this will make sense.
