See title. I wanna put up a lgbt countryballs underlemmy (or underpie; either of which I'd call lgballt), but on the Voyager app I don't see an option to. Is it perhaps the case that I'd need to ask the admins of this instance? Or is it because of my app?

It's because of your app. Login with default lemmy UI in your browser and you'll be able to create it.

Very late and I logged in on my desktop browser and I didn't really see an option (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)

Maybe I'm the tech boomer after all

edit: although it seems to be due to me using blorp rather than eg. Lemmy UI or mlmym (no longer seems to work). On Lemmy UI i can see the button to create a community.

Yep, that's what I was saying. You need to use the default lemmy UI, or a client/front end that supports community creation, though I can't tell you which front ends and clients do support it.

mlmym (no longer seems to work)

Ah thanks. No one has reported that yet, and Kaity and I don't use it, so I wasn't aware it was having issues. We'll get it back up and running

Blorp dev here. I never added support for community creation. The number of features to support is a little overwhelming, and growing quickly with PieFed. My philosophy is a little bit “wait to do something until it can be done correctly”. But if it’s confusing, maybe I can add a link out to the default UI as a stop gap solution. Create community felt lower priority since it’s an action that you do very very infrequently compared to create post.

Eventually I would like to support most features except admin features. I don’t think Blorp will ever be an admin UI. But a good goal would be to make mods and regular users 100% happy.
