And used to pay them money for it, but I cancelled as soon as they rolled out ads into my existing plan.

If they had introduced ads into a cheaper tier, I would have bitched and moaned, but still kept paying for Prime.

Instead, Amazon gets no money from me, and I still get their content, ad-free.

I only paid for Netflix back in the day. It was still ok, when only prime was a competition. When all started their own streaming services and things went in reverse cost-wise, i donned my old hat and welcomed back the salty smell of the ocean.
