Skoda is just rebadged VW, Dacia is just rebadged Renault etc. Some of the other brands have rebadged models in other markets too.
European cars can differ a lot between EU & NA market in terms of build quality and spec, wouldn’t take much notice of this
Mercedes is a lot more reliable in Europe as we get the diesels and don't get the US built cars. Many common Toyota models in the US don't exist here in Europe at all.
No point in looking at this as an European tbh.
not only rebadged but built in different plants. that can affect reliability too.
True, although for VAG in EU specifically it tends to be split by platform/model and not by badge
