So, an alternative headline that would be just as truthful: "A majority of US consumers are interested in AI features coming to their devices."
That's not going to get the upvotes here, though.
I don't think PCGamer titled their headline with the objective of getting upvotes on Lemmy.
They titled it with the objective of getting clicks. OP chose to post it here with the objective of getting upvotes. Same basic goal.
I agree with you that this article was deliberately framed to cast AI in a bad light as it is in line with their audience's general sentiment. What I'm pointing out is that this target audience of AI haters is actually the whole gaming community. Which is massive. Which entails a massive amount of folks don't like AI one bit. You see where I'm get at?

Yeah, there is that. There is also the fact that even going to the source I cannot find the actual study/data. No idea the sample size, method, or even list if questions. Mostly this feels like clickbait from PC Gamer.
