• You want to give your dime to a hobo so he stays comfortably poor and you can continue exploiting them.
• I want to use that dime to change the system that keeps the hobo poor.
• You guilt-trip people like me so I give up and instead give my dime to the hobo, so I don't have any way to change the system anymore, and you can continue exploiting hobos. Use them as boogeymen, or exploit cheap labor, whichever it is.

You have over 700k homeless people today, and also 16 million unused housing units. Why am I the only one here talking about housing them?
