If you want, "Such is life" is Sa se lavi, in Haitian Creole; won't stand out as much except for discerning listeners, when spoken, but you can sub. that any moment you'd normally use C'est la vie.

This is actually incredibly relevant to me. I'm anti-"It is what it is" and instead say "Such is life," "So it goes," "C'est la vie" and an additional alternative is great. Won't eliminate C'est la vie entirely because it's a Protest the Hero song, but thanks for another 'tired acknowledgment of the absurdity of reality' phrase!
