I love 90s Trek as much as anyone, but does anyone in the 32nd century ever stop and wonder why so much of the history anyone ever cares about occurred in the relatively short (and ancient by then) timespans of 2256–2293 and 2364–2379?

Like, the "Wall of Heroes" or whatever it's called really shouldn't be 90% people we've heard of before.

You don't think the mysterious disappearance of a war hero who was also entangled with non-linear, godlike beings would be interesting?

Of course I do, and I love DS9 so I'm excited for this, but also, I'm sure lots of other interesting stuff also happened in the intervening 800 years.

At least we'll always have Turner.
