Many people chuck it in the oven without pre-heating. Do companies factor that in when writing the instructions?

Chris does a test using a meat thermometer, and notices that ignoring the preheated instructions on chicken seems to give a better cook.

He compares food safety standards between UK and US, and there's an option to cook chicken in 10 minutes if you use a high heat and it'll still come out fine

Every frozen food I get always says to put the food in the middle of a pre-heated oven.
