I survived another full day. Somehow.

My job provider finally got back to me and topped my Myki up, but still no reimbursement for $100 for the clothes I bought.

Get it together guys jesus

That’s pretty poor. Extremely poor. Leaving you out your own money.

I donated my work clothes to one of those places that say they get women kitted out for work, do they not actually do that? Maybe they sell the clothes and skim the money off the top 🤨

They said I can buy clothes from Kmart or Target and they'll reimburse up to $150. So I bought almost $98 worth. It's been a month since I sent them a receipt, hence my email today (not allowed phones on us at work, only breaks, not enough time to get through to them). Implied it would be paid through Services Australia, then asked for my bank details 💀 I fare evaded to get in today, because I have 0.04c in my account, and that's what prompted me to send a stern email. They remotely topped up my Myki with $50 and said reimbursement would process today.

I'll be writing to my MP tbh

Edit: sorry to address the donations you do, yes they will go to where they are needed. I didn't access that service, this is my job provider through Workforce Australia.

Partner was paid today, we are okay. I am just extremely angry at the system jobseekers are forced into, where government help to gain and keep jobs is null in the face of it outsourcing to private job providers whose goal is to drain money from the government.

I'll also be paid Thursday, the puss has plenty of preemo food and treats. Rent and bills are paid.

This makes me so angry! I'm sorry you had to go through all this bullshit girlie :( I can see why everytime I look at jobs boards, those job providers are always on there.
