What's the best way to combat people's obsession with having good leaders and with leadership in general? (lemmy.zip)

Even in conversation with other leftists I hear people talk about how so and so doesn't have good leadership skills or want someone to be a better leader. It's getting to me in a way I probably shouldn't allow it to, but I feel like that mentality is antithetical to the goal of communism and will only delay its arrival. How do we change that rhetoric?

I'm hoping this is the right comm for this sort of post, please direct me if a more suitable place exists.

Edit: I'm not specifically talking about politics. I'm also talking about leadership talk in the workplace.

Teach others to be leaders. Instead of actually trying to become a leader by telling people what they should do, become a leader in a way that shows others "see what I'm doing? do this aswell."

What's better than a group with a leader? A group of leaders. So the leader is supposed to be the smartest, most cunning and strongest of us, right? Why shouldn't we all adopt those principles? Why should we rely on the great ideas of one leader, when we could pool in our ideas so that the idea of a leader is directly tied to the collective? Two minds think better than one. Three minds think better than two.
