Been playing some Fallout 3 since I got it running on the handheld. I haven’t played fallout 3 since the 360 days compared to NV which I’ve played intermittently over the years and it turns out there’s a reason. 3 really is inferior to NV in just about every way. What I will give 3 is that I find the world map and settlement design to be more thought out. Although that win makes sense when you compare development times.
I don’t like the portrayal of just about every faction in 3. I don’t like the karma system and how they integrated it into other gameplay aspects. The perks are just bad in a lot of instances (“get 5 points in a skill!”).
Don’t even get me started on the dialogue. Sometimes it’s good but very often it’s just the 4 options from fallout 4 without the voice acting.
So yeah I’m gonna have to nut up and try to actually play morrowind one of these days. I’ve tried so many times but I always feel under leveled to even kill rats in that woman’s basement. I guess that just means it’s grind time
