I'm researching JRPG games for an RPG Maker project I'm working on. Currently playing Linda³ for the PSX and I love it.
If anyone has any recommendations for 90's era JRPG's with minimal grinding/interesting battle mechanics, let me know.
Panzer Dragoon Saga would tick those boxes, it’s also really short for a JRPG.
Disclaimer: I don't know exactly what makes a JRPG except that its an RPG made in japan
Grandia 2 is a game that has stuck with me since I was a kid. Originally on the Dreamcast but I had the PS2 version. It's one of the first games to use the active style combat where characters with different speeds take turns at different times. Plus the storyline is bonkers
It's not from the 90s tho oops
