RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Donโt post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

EDIT: I think they deleted their comment due to fear of being doxxed due to any easily recognizable landmark visible from their house. So, trying to be as considerate to that as I can, I'll summarize their comments: No pets, but they have a pretty cool structure very close that looks awesome. Ot was there when they moved in.
Hahaha!!
About 10 years ago, we happen upon a property that was on an island on the Chesapeake Bay and as a bonus that lighthouse is visible basically from my backyard.
Never in my wildest dreams that I think Iโd get a chance to live on a waterfront in a place is magical as this, but I spend many in the morning drinking my coffee, pondering that lighthouse and all the incredible views that the Chesapeake Bay offers
