Democrats ARE the American left. Point me to a party that has the voter numbers to win elections over both then and the republicans. There is none. Most people don't want a communist revolution because they don't want the inevitable dictatorship that's part of it. It's kinda like the current dictatorship, but there's even less you can do about it.

You ain't effecting change by running interference in a first past the post system. All you're doing is getting Trump elected. All the ICE victim blood is on the hands of not just those who voted for Trump, but also those who didn't vote at all.

The party itself needs to be changed from within. You can't just tell people to stay home or vote third party because that's how you get the cheeto that wants to cancel elections.
