How many more people have to be murdered before Congress act?
How many more innocent civilians have to die at the hands of the government before the elected representatives of those people take action?
The USA is descending into an authoritarian state and Congress is letting it happen.
They could end it whenever they want. This on them as well as criminals perpetrating these heinous crimes.
Congress isn't going to do anything
I believe it will if enough people protest and show how they really feel about everything, including ICE.
You may disagree though.
They won't do anything while republicans have the majority.
How many have to be Luigi'd before the Dems have the majority?
Not that many.
At this point I'm sure they'll send in the national guard to help burn Minneapolis to the ground

I recommend studying the Wilmington Insurrection. It was a time when in response to frustrations with Wilmington being a majority black town with thriving black enterprise, the white minority who lived there gathered arms and killed anyone non-white who showed up to vote, then went through the town rounding up and murdering black people. Resulting in Democrats (this was before the parties switched) winning for the first time. The state wouldn't see a black senator again until nearly a century later.
Wanna know where the federal government was? Because they knew about it.
Woodrow Wilson actually gave instructions for the national guard to step in and HELP THE INSURRECTIONISTS if it started going badly for them.

I can imagine Trump using the National Guard as an enforcement tool in the elections but we'll see.
