In a Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump announced that he was revising a lawsuit against The New York Times to include the organization’s polling research, which currently shows him tanking on everything from the economy and immigration to his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

You need a strong candidate that’s not wholly owned by the other side

You mean like Bernie Sanders who the DNC openly rigged their primaries against and then had a court declare they were within their legal right to do so?

"[W]e could have voluntarily decided that, Look, we're gonna go into back rooms like they used to and smoke cigars and pick the candidate that way. That's not the way it was done. But they could have. And that would have also been their right..." - DNC attorney Bruce Spiva

I don't disagree with what you're saying about independents and Congress, etc etc. Personally, I do not think America is salvageable. I think it will bleed out slowly like Rome, with corruption scandals and civil rights decay and further-ballooning inequality and de-facto balkanization, until one day, someone looks around and realizes that the USA is functionally gone. I always think about the quote where someone asks a gambler how they lost all their money. Their response: "Slowly at first, then all at once." I think that is how America will fall, and indeed, already is falling.

That's why I already half-jokingly refer to myself as a citizen of the New California Republic lol. But if I'm wrong and there is any chance of salvaging the nation, I am completely certain that the ironically-fundamentally-undemocratic DNC offers no path to that outcome. No institution which accepts money from corporations or Zionists will ever serve the American people.

  1. I don't want Democrats to win lol, just saying they won't even elect a liberal Zionist like Bernie so there's zero hope for reform
  2. The DNC literally said they cheated him, and were allowed to do so

The DNC literally said they cheated him, and were allowed to do so

No they didn't, that's a dumbass lie propagated by butt hurt Bernie Bros who can't fathom that Bernie isn't as popular in real life as he is in their internet echo chambers.

I don’t want Democrats to win lol, just saying they won’t even elect a liberal Zionist like Bernie so there’s zero hope for reform

What reform? There's one thing people like you are always short on; details.

who the DNC openly rigged

edit: spacing; Kinda supports the rest of what I said no?

I do not think America is salvageable. I

edit: spacing; quite possible.

someone looks around and realizes that the USA is functionally gone.

edit: spacing; We're already there. That's how this happened.

ironically-fundamentally-undemocratic DNC offers no path to that outcome.

edit: spacing; I agree. But we need a bigger shift, this isn't going to happen because one guy or even 5 sensible people get elected. Until that point, DNC is by far the lesser of two evils, but we can't afford to ride that. We need grassroots that can organize and reform, back the lesser of two evils and work their way into proper control.

We’re already there. That’s how this happened.

The nation started with only white, land-owning men being able to vote (land which they stole from indigenous people using genocidal violence). Now it's mostly only wealthy, land-owning, disproportionately-white men and women influencing the direction of the nation (at least "through the proper channels").

I think you might have a mythologized vision of America based on the Civil Rights era. That was the exception, not the rule.

Until that point, DNC is by far the lesser of two evils

Once you reach the point where you're guilty of genocide, I don't think you're allowed to play "lesser" evil anymore. Even if you "only" genocide 400,000 people and 'the other guy' genocides 800,000 people, you're both just irredeemably evil.

We need grassroots that can organize and reform

Again, we already had that with Bernie Sanders and the DNC rigged it. "Grassroots reform" in the capacity you're talking about is a democratic function. You cannot play democracy with a fundamentally un-democratic institution.
