This 'reject the US' mindset is only remotely feasible if the EU is comfortable cozying up to China and drastically shifting their policy and attitudes
So it won't be happening
it's basically the same thing as when a teenager "rebels" against their parents and starts to swear and wear some black clothing. They'll get it out of their system and then remember that their entire material existence is predicated on American hegemony and white supremacy and return back to being good kids
It's the same as a Canadians doing this. Total cowardice
