This the same Australia that has been running illegal offshore concentration camps with utterly deplorable conditions for decades where prisoners are denied access to healthcare and lawyers while also being locked down to any journalists or attempts to investigate? The concentration camps where conditions are so bad that some are pushing the wet bulb temps to the limits of human survivability? (Excuse the source but here's a primer.)
CECOT is horrendous and I wouldn't deny it but there's a long-running precedent in the west that Australia has set and it's been that way for decades.
Maybe Australians need to sit this discussion out because, clearly, they have just about the least authority to speak on resisting fascist forces who are kidnapping people and forcing them into concentration camps? Just a thought!
No see, the australians aren't doing it fascistically, they're doing it through good old liberal democratic means. The problem isn't drumpf (or the australians for that matter) kidnapping people and forcing them into concentration camps, it's that he's doing it fascistically. And if we just got rid of drumpf we could go back to doing these things goodly, and to brunch.
