"Under the Bridge" is a landmark song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from their 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Released as a single in 1992, it marked the band's breakthrough into mainstream success, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In his autobiography he describes having sex with an underage girl. Both before he was aware of her age and after. So not only did he commit the act, he thought it was just a cute little anecdote to tell. Barf.
