We've already seen how this plays out when Trump started his trade war. The EU did a lot of blustering about being a big economic bloc, having bargaining power, etc. Then in the end Ursula dutifully flew to Scotland to sign a humiliating deal that let the US rape Europe economically. Why do you think this will be any different?

I don't think it will be different. I just hope it does. Small but important differentiation. In the end I will just roll eyes again and sigh silently.
