I hate their avatar. Vikings and crusaders are two separate things, you can't just combine them.

Also, horned helmets are 19th century romantic bullshit. You only need to think about it for half a second to realise why nobody would want to wear a horned helmet in actual combat.

knights wore horned helmets historically (also samurai), they don't get in the way on horseback so much

They were usually made from flimsy materials like paper mache though so they fell off easily when struck, not taking their heads with it. A lot of helmets with more solid decorations like ancient Itallic helmets for example had the decorations detachable.
