Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience
- Be nice :)

It is addiction just like any other. I felt like I can't quit it, I feel like I will lose connection with the friends and family that is still using it. That it keeps me informed and other BS.
After deleting it on 2nd try (after navigating the maze to delete, they have 30 days to change mind, going I won't be able restaurant and will log in and I did first time) I realized that I haven't lost anything of value and the people that I still master I have other ways to contact.
It was just an illusion.
Same. When I stopped using it, little changed, except I had a lot more free time and peace.
I see less from old loved ones by not having it, but that's ok, it makes catching up an activity. It's fun to share the exciting things of the past year or two with my family and friends when I see them.
