The Justice Department is investigating Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey over possible obstruction of federal law enforcement, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

A person familiar with the matter told CNN that a grand jury has issued subpoenas for both men as part of the investigation. But Walz’s office had not received any notice as of Friday evening, according to another source familiar with the matter. It was not immediately clear when Frey and Walz would receive the subpoenas.

He's gonna make an excuse whether you give him one or not. Stop sitting on your hands.

Yeah not opposing them will embolden them more. They only understand consequences. Waltz already dropped out of the race on bad faith attacks for fraud that are rife across all states, done by companies not people generally, and supervised by the feds as well.

It's just as much of a scandal the feds didn't sniff out the fraud, either way though, Waltz getting out of politics only emboldens them more. Waltz backing down and not calling them out for what they are doing in response to criminal investigation will also embolden them. They should be calling it all out for what it is publicly. Not doing so is why they never have the support to do anything.
