Not apropos at all, but there's a little device called a "caltrop" and it's really easy to make if you have a way to weld and bend common nails. I mean, I wouldn't advise putting these things on your local streets because they will definitely fuck up pneumatic tires and nobody needs that shit.
Plastic cap roofing nails, the shorter the better. They come in bulk. No need to be fucking around bending nails when you can buy ones ready made for the task. The shorter the shank, the wider the cap, the more likely they are to and up cap side down if just spilled into a space.
Possession of caltrops is banned in many states, making the roofing nail comment a really interesting idea
Just make sure to also carry a roofing hammer. You know. Just in case you gotta raise the roof (or something idk, I can't be arsed to come up with something more clever).
Oh, the one with the hatchet on the back to split shakes?
Also be careful about watering your yard this time of year in Minneapolis. You may accidentally spray the roads and ICE clearly can't figure out slick surfaces. Would be terrible if they got stuck or damaged their vehicles.
