The problem is they've woken a bunch of times, but unconsciously or consciously, most have chose not to go with the whole plan...
Material conditions. There's no general strike fund and no safety net here. Of course people are going to keep showing up to work when there's no realistic alternative.
This tbh. Without dual power (e.g. a militant organized labor movement) and some kind of vanguard structure, spontaneous movements/uprisings inevitably fizzle out.
This. It's as if amerikkkans unconsciously find out they benefit from this shit more than they are affected and collectively go back to brunch
nah that would require an understanding of geopolitics that we simply do not have. there's no vanguard to harness the energy and people have to pay rent and buy groceries. with no covid checks or extra unemployment this time i'd expect the protest will be smaller or shorter than it was for george floyd.
