It had nothing to do with Maia Poet, nor was he responding to someone using her transness as a shield for bad politics. He just spouted off with saying a lot of people might be trans mostly as a way to claim a marginalized identity. That is completely different from saying being marginalized doesn't give you an excuse to marginalize others.
