I honestly think he dropped the ball on this fraud story. I’m still piecing together all the facts but the minute this story broke he should have been all over it.
A lot of the misinformation is coming from people that don’t even live in the state and he could have used this as an opportunity to make the job market a little better for his constituents by actually going after some of the fraud that IS happening and making statements about it.
A lot of the stuff I’m seeing I don’t even know if it’s true or not but it looks REALLY bad on Minnesota.
I mean, I understand that it was his office that implemented the program. There are video clips from when he was running for vice president where he's bragging on the program and saying it could be implemented across the whole US. I'm not saying he was in on the fraud, but I don't know how easily he really could have gotten around being the fall guy here. He owned it, he had to go down.
Did he? By the time the fraud became national news it was already dismantled and most of the people involved were already prosecuted. He just rolled over and let trump make shit up with little pushback.
Exactly. He really didn’t seem to know what was going on when he made that initial statement. He should have gotten with his DA and gotten some information about how most of the cases were already prosecuted and this was a non-issue. He already should have had investigators at some of these places Nick Shirley went to either clear them of wrong doing or shut them down.
