This is going to suck. Hard. I was just a kid when the War on Terror happened, but what I do remember is that even though tons of people were protesting Bush, calling him Hitler, etc, it did nothing. The imperialism went ahead anyway and the pro-imperialist propaganda machine was just as loud as the protesters.

You're going to feel very alone in a very wild world (if you don't already, its already been pretty wild) because it's going to ramp up.

I beg you to know you aren't alone, stay strong. At least this time, the US isn't at it peak power like it was back then. Maybe we can do something about it, but we're going to have to remember what didn't work last time. We have to learn from the past and adjust.

You aren't alone, and you aren't crazy.

Gonna have to push back gently on this one.

First and foremost, the post Al Aqsa Flood propaganda spewing from the genocide state was way more intense than anything I had ever felt. Much more overwhelming than the 9/11 or pre-2003 invasion propaganda. Could be I was just much older and more aware of the world around me, but in any case I’d say it was directly comparable.

Secondly, I am not a BurgerLander and don’t watch cable or MSM so maybe I am missing out on the fun consent-manufacturing here, but I get the impression that the Trump admin just isn’t really trying very hard to convince people. They’re just going to do whatever tf they want no matter what. Why do they care, the opinion of the public has never really impacted government policy anyway.

Correct me if I am wrong please.

As a burgerlander, the post Al-Aqsa Zionist propaganda was not worse than 9/11. After 9/11 it was locked in. You were a traitor if you said otherwise. Full spectrum acceptance and no alternative media to contradict.

Post Al-aqsa was the closest we've ever gotten to 9/11 levels. Far worse than this. Maybe the volume was larger but social media didn't exist yet.

You're right about them not caring as much now, though. Everyone in Trump's orbit must be thinking its the end of the roman republic and are jostling for position in the imperial phase.

Well I'm in this same situation and my experience of the Al Aqsa flood propaganda was cheering on Hamas alongside other people on here and my friends. For this one, I'm having to explain to some of my friends why I support Maduro. Probably a situation where being so close to the target of the propaganda means people here are more likely to buy into it.

nah 9/11 propaganda was much worse including the stuff Israel did

there was more propaganda from Israel in the 9/11 era than there was post October 7th
