He’s making it illegal to protest outside the synagogues selling stolen Palestinian land.
How we feeling… ?
You might try going back to middle school for reading comprehension, instead of trying to stir up trouble. What you linked specifically directs the police commissioner and law guidance to review the existing laws regarding protests at "houses of worship, reproductive health facilities, private houses and other sites"; current restraints on policing protests; and evaluating proposed regulations regarding protests near houses of worship.
The review includes reviewing laws, restraints and proposed regulations on establishing protest-free zones at entrances to houses of worship, or zones outside houses of worship where protests are allowed; reviewing laws, restraints and proposed regulations on restricting protests during public services; and reviewing laws, restraints and proposed regulations about restrictions during non-religious activities.
None of this is about "he's just made it illegal to protest outside synagogues selling stolen Palestinian land". It's going over the books to find out what the laws and restraints actually are (as opposed to however prior administrations and the NYPD have chosen to interpret them), seeing if there's a different way to interpret those laws and restraints; and going through current proposals to see if they want to have NYC continue to push those proposals through.
Go back to catturd, Dogbert.
The review will be granted i can promise you that. Mamdani isnt wasting his time on this proposal if he’s not confident it will be passed. I’m sure you’ll have a new excuse when it eventually goes through lol.
Don’t forget who he selected as his police commissioner…
Notice how New Yorkers didnt have these restrictions for decades, but now that people are trying to effectively protest Israel, the regulations are suddenly being considered? Use your head my man.
People in New York have been protesting Israel's actions for a couple years now - and getting arrested for it, losing their degrees, worked from university, kicked out of the country, some went to jail. Yet somehow Mamdani checking the actual wording on the laws vs how they're currently being applied is going to be bad? No. Absolutely the only reason you're posting this bullshit is because he's a progressive, and you're trying to stir up shit.
The review is not being conducted by Mamdani, it’s going straight to Jessica Tisch. The mega-Zionist that oversaw those arrests you just referred to. She’s claimed that watermelons and Keffiyehs are “antisemitic” symbols.
Here she is apologizing for allowing a protests near a synagogue trying to recruit new settlers to Israel. And just a month later, she is assigned to review these laws for any changes…

Maybe just shut your mouth if you don’t know what you’re talking about?
I'm just going to copy over my exact same reply, from where you posted this exact same bullshit in the other thread:
You are being deliberately misleading. The article says she upholds the right to protest:
And apologizes that it was difficult for people to get into and out of the building:
Funny how you talked about pro palestinians getting arrested for protesting land theft and genocide and when the other user mentionned that it happened under Tisch, you are like whatever I will believe her justifications and excuses
If you wanna believe this Nazi liar then go for it. Her actions speak for themselves. Her handling of Palestinian protestors literally resulted in 3500 lawyers calling for her dismissal…

Also, nobody was being stopped from entering or exiting. It was a peaceful protest. They just make this stuff up so they can crack down like they always do. Liberals eat it up just like they did with the “war on terror” in the 2000s.
