Fediverse vs Disinformation
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

She’s throwing punches at Trump so she is and will be perceived as savvy because in December of 2025 she is.
Her politics are pretty much the same as his but more isolationist. Neither are good people with good political ideas but I welcome her left hooks against the president.
Yeah, I mentioned this elsewhere too but she’s actually remained pretty ideologically consistent (terrible but consistent) in her brief political career. From her perspective, it's Trump that moved away from her (or at least revealed himself to be away from her) politically.
My enemy's enemy is... potentially useful, even if they're a massive craven idiot like MTG.
