I decided to start playing through the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot series. I was playing Deus Ex but kept fucking up so bounced off. I'm about halfway through my 3rd playthrough of the 2013 Tomb Raider and it will be my first playthrough of both Rise and Shadow. Well I did start Rise a few years ago and got a couple hours in but my save corrrupted.
I'm getting interesting frame drops in 2013 on Linux. I say interesting because the game is the oldest of the bunch and I did test the other 2 to see if they needed any proton magic to run. Those run at a solid 120 fps on max settings but 2013 will go from 80 to 30 in spots witlh a lot of on screen stuff going on. I did drop the resolution back down to 1080p and that gave me like 5-10 frames but it's still goofy considering the game is 12 years old.
Edit: I just checked and both Rise and Shadow have proper Linux ports while the 2013 GotY edition was only ported to Mac. So that prob explains my frame issue.
