Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

Idk some see it as using it in excess due to body image issues in Hollywood but a lot it seems like its always a thinly veiled shot at the body positive movement whenever I see this mentioned. The South park episode I'm sure helped fuel this. Hell of a lot of moralizing over ozempic in general and people not losing weight the "right way". thats-why-im-confused

so real. like, no joke, being cut is 100% conflated with leadership abilities in a lot of circles. like, so long as you're not running around like a rabid animal or making a complete mess of your personal life, so many people yield their trust and respect to people for it.

it's so pervasive, it's like a legal form of mind control. i joke about focusing hard on getting down to like 10-12% body fat so i can start a cult and/or run for office.
